Terese Castellanos, LCSW, has 20 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. She has developed a treatment style that is engaging, goal-oriented, and strength based, which allows her clients to participate in their own growth and healing.  Terese works collaboratively with her clients to find an approach that works best for them. It is important to her that she creates a friendly, comfortable, and non-judgmental space where clients can express themselves openly and freely.Terese specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, and major life transitions.  She believes that through therapy, unresolved issues can be addressed so as to gain freedom from shame, guilt, anxiety, and depression, and work toward healthier ways of living that allow for a more meaningful and authentic life.She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University in Chicago. In addition to her work in private practice, she works as a an addictions therapist, critical incident response consultant, and a mental health consultant. In addition, Terese is a certified Reiki Practitioner.
