Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - The Power of Selflessness: Lessons for Good Friday

I talk about how the selfless acts of individuals throughout history can serve as a reminder to us all. Let's remember the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus and the significance of the Passover. I also mention professions such as first responders, armed service members, nurses, and teachers who make selfless acts a part of their daily lives. One of the key takeaways from this episode is the importance of sacrifice and being selfless. I emphasize that this is not just for those who are equal to us, but for the least of these. I provide examples of how we can be more selfless, such as donating time, preparing food, and cleaning up a community. I also introduced the concept of "pitching pennies," where every good deed is like pitching a penny into a fountain, and eventually, the fountain will be filled with our good deeds. This is a great reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference. This episode is a great reminder for us to reflect on the blessings we have in our lives and to be grateful for them.
