Thankful vs Grateful (Pod #542)

from Tapping Q & A - Getting the most out of tapping and EFT · host Gene Monterastelli

For most people, the words thankful and grateful are interchangeable. But even though they are very similar, there is a small but significant difference between their definitions. I am not super concerned about whether you are using either word correctly, however I do think that there is an important distinction between thankful and grateful as it relates to our healing and transformation work. I was introduced to the distinction in one of my favorite podcasts Go Fact Yourself. Go Fact Yourself is a quiz show in which the first round is called Split The Difference where the contestants are asked to provide definitions of two words that are very close in meaning to illustrate their difference. In episode 114 the contestants were asked to split the difference between thankful and grateful. The correct answer was a revelation for me! In this week's podcast I share the difference between thankful and grateful, as well as how both of those fit into our transformational process. Support the podcast!
