On the show today I have Simone, from Australia, sharing her heart wrenching story of losing her 2.5 year old daughter and just 12 days later free birthing her second daughter. She tells us of the gutting journey of going through her wild pregnancy while navigating the allopathic system for Evie - trying to maintain autonomy and dignity for her family amongst providers who were left astounded at her daughter's quickly diminishing condition. She vulnerably shares of her daughter's death, the redemptive birth of Freya and everything in between. This is one of those impossible stories and yet Simone is not alone. There are bereaved mothers all around us and this is a deep touching story that softens our hearts and reminds us of the enormous heartbreak, complexities, and courage of motherhood.
