The 2026 United Nations World Water Day is coming up fast
from PWBCdetroit's Podcast · host PWBCdetroit
Happy Wednesday #waterworriors! The 2026 United Nations World Water Day is coming up fast! We have some exciting events to bring to your attention. On March 21st, our dear friend, Jo Coutts, an artistic cartographer and water protector, will be leading us on a journey along buried waterways, in search of “blue lines”. These blue lines were spray painted on sidewalks near residences and businesses who were slated to have their water shut off by the city. The next day, March 22nd, we ask that you join PWBC and be part of the movement to make water affordable for every Michigander, as we connect gender equality to the current water crisis. That event is hosted by Nicole Hill and Valerie Jean, and it's on March 22nd at 4pm. It's going to be a great weekend, please tune in to the flyers below to stay afloat.
