In this episode, I talk about a topic that you will hear over and over while you are at the Academy and for the rest of your career as an air traffic controller: PRIORITIES.It starts with understanding that your number 1 priority on any given day is THAT DAY!If you are worried about what is coming up in 3 or 4 weeks, or you are trying to learn something that your instructors have not taught you yet, or you may even not be placing a priority on practicing, then you may have your priorities messed up. And if your priorities are messed up in this career, you have a HUGE problem.Getting your priorities right is a must, that's why this is a Law and not just a suggestion.Concentrate on the fundamentals and MASTER them. Then, you can go on to more advanced things that you will have to know. Without the fundamentals, you won't be able to master the more advanced things that are required.Thank you all for listening!
