The Aaronic Priesthood versus Our Great High Priest Yeshua, the Light of the World

We replay One New Man's first ever radio show first aired 3/5/23! We discuss the Shechinah glory, God's divine presence which was to dwell among men on the mercy seat. The portion covers the duties of the high priest to attend to the perpetual light so that Israel is to be a light unto the world. We discuss the priests garments, and the priest's efforts to inspire and represent holiness, and display God's "glory and beauty". We discuss the "ephod" with its stones, and the breastpiece of judgement, and 12 stones of remembrance that represent the 12 tribes of Israel. So Aaron shall bear the names of the people when he enters the tabernacle to bring them to regular remembrance to God. Thus the high priest carries a burden to represent and intercede for the people. Aaron bears the peoples' judgement, and our more perfect high priest Yeshua bears our judgement and is continuously making intercession for us. The high priest wore a plate on his forehead which said, "Holy to the LORD." Yeshua, His name, means salvation. He is the propitiation, the sacrifice that satisfied God's wrath. The high priest is to be anointed, ordained, and consecrated, set apart, "holy to the LORD". 1 Peter 2:9 states" "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." The purpose of salvation, Yeshua, is that God would make a people for Himself.
