The Advent of Peace

So often, we look for peace in our circumstances, failing to see that it's something we can actively forge with God's Holy Spirit. In this talk, Paul asks us to consider if peace is a passive feeling or a courageous action we must undertake. In this talk we take a look at what Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount to challenge our default instincts. We explore why the most authentic peace demands the difficult partnership of both truth and reconciliation, and how Jesus's instructions on handling conflict show us how to make space for the other person.
