This week I’m honoured to be joined by Emily Chalke, founder and director of the charity Ella’s. The organisation is dedicated to supporting survivors of trafficking and exploitation through safe housing and specialist casework. Their mission is to ensure that every survivor has what they need to recover, rebuild, and live a life that is safe and free. Trafficking is often discussed in the media, usually with a focus on the crime itself and the perpetrator. Emily shifts the spotlight to the survivor — offering insight into what life looks like after escape and helping us understand the long and often hidden journey of recovery.
