However, we’ve learned that while our feelings are often like shifting smoke or vapor, Jesus remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. By cultivating a "secret place" of quiet intimacy, anchoring ourselves in the truth of Scripture rather than our fleeting moods, and learning the raw honesty of lament, we can maintain a consistent connection with the Father.
