On the The Arts Programme this week, Ursula Ledwith is joined by Francez Cody, chair of Uisneach, who talks about the upcoming Bealtaine Festival, celebrating our Irish heritage through Music, Food, Mindfulness, Yoga, Crafting Demos, Stalls, Heritage Talks & Walks, Children’s Games. Gabrielle McFadden, talks about the fundraising walk in memory of her Sister, Athlone TD Nicky McFadden which will be held this Saturday, March 30. The walk in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association will be from Ferbane, along the Grand Canal, to Shannon Harbour. Drama Producer, Don Mortell chats about the goal of staging a literary festival in Mullingar, starting with a one-off play The Jealous Wall by the late Leo Daly, asking for people in the community to be involved in the project. And Rosfm Presenter, John Ralph dropped in to say hello.
