The Arts Programme with Ursula Ledwith 29/01/25

On this week's The Arts Programme with Ursula Ledwith, Sandy Kelly, International Country Singer, The Show Band Days, Patsy in the Patsy Clyne Musical, Eurovision, and singer with US Country greats such as Johnny Cash, chatted about her life in music and song. Artist and Florist Mary Gaynor chatted about the making of the St. Brigid Cross, Tarmonbarry, which is on display in February in Tarmonbarry, the crossing point between Leinster and Connaught. The Cross was the inspiration of Carolina Callery, help and support by Men's Shed, local Artists, Dramatic Group, and Keenan's of Tarmonbarry where the festival will take place. Liam O' Brien who shared a journey with Mary Gaynor to the North Pole chatted about the journey, the amazing sky, if they met the great man himself, and shared details on the Festival being held mid February in Co. Galway.
