The ATC Success Cycle- Test, Fail, Learn, Improve, Reenter- Repeat

In this episode, I talk about what I call The ATC Success Cycle. You need this when you want to grow and improve as an air traffic controller. This is especially important if you are at, or going to, the Academy. You will have at least some moments at the Academy where you fail. It is guaranteed.The difference between students who succeed and those who don't is: how they respond to those failures.The Success Cycle is this:You Test ( a new technique for instance).You Fail ( It doesn't work).You Learn ( Why didn't it work)You Improve ( What can I do differently to get better).You Reenter ( You try again).Then you start the cycle all over again.
