The B-Movie Podcast: The Vast of Night

from Podcasts – The Movie Isle

Adam and Scott are back for a one-off episode discussing the upcoming Amazon Studios Release The Vast of Night. Producer’s Note: This was recorded February 23, 2020 almost three weeks before everyone would Shelter-in-Place because of COVID19. Any discussions about this release theatrically is made before just how serious this all was. This podcast was delayed because the release was delayed from March 2020 to May 2020. Per IMDb the plot for The Vast of Night is such; In the twilight of the 1950s, on one fateful night in New Mexico, a young switchboard operator Fay and charismatic radio DJ Everett discover a strange audio frequency that could change their small town and the future forever. This low-budget wonder is the real deal and our Co-Hosts agree. They discuss everything from the style, homage, Film Festival finds, The Twilight Zone, Amazing Stories, and so much more.  The film is still about a month from release but they wanted to bang the drum now getting people in the know in advance of it’s March release.   Scott’s original review out of the Overlook Film Festival!
