Todays world is beset with lies. Each day we must choose between left or right,wrong or right. The truth is at a premieum in the times we live in. For the addict it seems its easier to lie than to tell the truth. What we know is that the liar hates the truth. We also know God is truth. Everything God does is truthful. God cannot lie. Addiction is rooted in the lie. Addicts depend on the lie to advance their addictive life style. Addicts oppose God. Infact Addiction requires the abscence of God. For this we know there is no recovery without God. God initiates and sustains recovery. Recovery demands the everyday search for the truth. Truth is at enimity with the lie and the liar. A person is known by the words he speaks. The purveyor of lies is a liar. A liar is opposed to God. In recovery we run from the liar and seek recourse in the truth that is recovery.
