The Big Vinny V Show, Sep 8th

AAA's go-home show for TripleMania did very little to promote the year's biggest show. TNA Impact didn't do much better at promoting theirs, but at least they still have several weeks to go. AAA featured a trios match with nothing on the line and guys who are never on TV; a bunch of very WWE-esque promos; a celebration of a legend that was great but could have happened any other week; exactly one new match booked for the weekend; and a squash win for a title challenger. Meanwhile, on Impact, TNA offered a bunch of short matches, a lot of strange promos and angles, an impressive debut for a new wrestler, and a good main event between Jason Hotch and Trey Miguel that had a dumb finish.
