Rener Gracie is a 5th Degree BJJ Black Belt. Rener's father, Rorion Gracie, is widely recognized as one of the men responsible for introducing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the United States and his grandfather, Hélio Gracie, founded the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with his brothers Oswaldo, Gastão Jr., George and Carlos. Rener is the co-owner and head instructor at the Gracie University of Jiu-Jitsu. His Gracie Survival Tactics (GST) curriculum is the first to be recognized in California as approved for law enforcement. As a coach he has helped to develop several notable UFC athletes including Ronda Rousey, Brian Ortega, Brendan Schaub, Javier Vazquez and Lyoto Machida. Rener is also an inventor, serial entrepreneur, and author. His book "The 32 Principles: Harnessing the Power of Jiu-Jitsu to Succeed in Business, Relationships, and Life" is available now wherever books are sold.
