Hi gorgeous! Thank you so much for choosing to be here and be a part of this challenging conversation with me. I hope this chat on bodies and their true function, can help to soften the eyes you look at your body with. From the depths of my orthorexia, when I was consuming a maximum of 1200 hundred calories a day… to not stepping on a weigh scale for 5 years and not counting a single calorie or gram of food. There is so much freedom to be had on the other side, once we dig into moments of deep gratitude for the daily functions of our body… we begin to see how much we really take for granted, and how much we truly have to be grateful for. Our bodies are so much more than the shell we see!! I really hope this gives you a deep sense of relief. Sending you SO much love! 💕 chat soon, Em ✨💕 Instagram - @thefussyveggie

Raising Me CBS13 How many times as a parent or caregiver have you stressed out not knowing how to handle a situation? (Ran out of fingers and toes to count here!) Questions about curfews, social media rules, whether we are being too strict or not strict enough, or even dealing with a toddler meltdown can make us worry if we're doing or saying the right things. The reality is even the moms, dads, caregivers who look like they have it figured out really don’t. There is so much self-doubt that comes with being a parent. We don’t get a ‘How To’ guide after all. Each week on Raising Me, Emmy-award winning journalist and mom of 3 Adrienne Stein will talk with the experts about what we’re all navigating with our children. Things like dealing with bullies, fear around school threats, figuring out how and when to effectively discipline, and how to talk with our kids about money, especially when difficult choices need to be made. We'll learn simple and practical ways to be a better parent and person. Follow a The Point is Progress Jenna Cavadas We're often so consumed by life and figuring out how to do it right or perfectly that we forget the most important part - that the very point of life is progress, and we can only accomplish that together. Through storytelling style interviews of local small business owners, I will bring you into the hearts and minds of the people you encounter everyday. We will discuss the many aspects of life - there’s no telling where our conversation will go. Let’s join together on this journey, to learn from and with each other, and to grow our capacity for greatness through kindness, empathy, and connection.
