The Brain is Livewired, not plastic - 9/16/2020

Anybody can learn anything, no matter their age. When you're younger, you are simply in the phase of your life where everything is new and you don't know what is relevant. When you're older, you know how to dismiss things that are irrelevant, at the risk of dismissing all new things as irrelevant. In this entry, I talk about how the term 'neuroplasticity' is a misnomer, and how our mind is more accurately described as an ever-changing livewired brain, according to David Eagleman.
