The Case of Elena Hembree

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to rural Kentucky to discuss the case of Elena Hembree, an adorable baby girl who died at the hands of her mother, Erica Lawson. However, the authorities have yet to uncover to what extent, and the lack of information has caused rumor mills to swirl all around the Middlesboro Basin. Those rumors, which were further stoked on by a former Commonwealth Prosecutor, made their way to the internet, where they were further spread by locals and influencers alike. Baby Elena's case has garnered so much attention that there are concerns of a mistrial. At the end of the day, many have forgotten that there is a little girl at the center of all of this, who lost her life in an extremely brutal way.
