The Case of HardiQuinn Raina Hill

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Brownwood, Texas, to discuss the case of HardiQuinn Hill, a 9-year-old girl who died of severe malnutrition and abuse on August 22, 2022. Her mother, Dawn Faith Hill-Flesner, and her mother's girlfriend, Jamie Faye Anderson, both pleaded guilty to capital murder in 2023. : Child protective workers found that HardiQuinn and her 11-year-old brother lived downstairs in severe filth with trash and locked refrigerators. In contrast, the two adults lived comfortably upstairs with air conditioning and plenty of food. Neighbors and family had made multiple reports to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services before her death.
