The Case of Heather Baynard

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to South Carolina to discuss the sad case of Heather Baynard, a 14-year-old girl living with spastic quadriplegia, a form of cerebral palsy. Due to her condition, her 21-year-old brother, Edward, became her State sponsored caretaker. But due to the pandemic, no one actually stopped into the Baynard home to make sure that Heather was actually being taken care of.
