The Coffee Run Ep334 - Quick! Plot twist!

from The Nicola Moras Show · host Nicola Moras

This morning, I did my usual routine: * 6am call with clients * 7am headed off to class #1 at the gym and headed home around 8am * 8.40a left to go back to the gym and to journal before class #2 * Arrived home to a CLUSTER FORK of disaster in my kitchen and hallway! Hahhahaa!!!! I'd left my husband at home with the plumber so they could organise the plumbing of our new fridge (the old one died while we were away over Xmas!! :/ and we decided to go the spangly one with the water dispenser, etc). Thing is, we live in a house that was originally built in 1914 or something like that.... so the walls (made of stone and concrete and other very very very tough materials) go all the way from the ceiling right the way down into the dirt. So the hallway walls go all the way to the ground. The kitchen walls, all the way to the ground. Now, this is GREAT for stability and longevity and sturdiness..... not so great for plumbers who need the pipes to be made to the back of the fridge!!!! A job that 'should have' taken a couple of hours (I was hoping to come home to beautifully filtered water) has taken A LOT LONG than expected. So it was a total rearrangement of my day today. Rescheduled stuff.Shifted stuff around. Changed what I was doing and how... And I took it all in my stride! The old me would have freaked out about how I was going to make it work. How I was going to be able to fit it all in. Change it. How would this then impact people... and a whole lot reaction-based stress would have ensued. #NotResourceful! So naturally, I talked about it all on the not very long The Coffee Run Ep334 this morning and you get a bit of look at the disaster zone that is my home currently!!! I know. It's a very first world problem to have... but resilience building nontheless! CATCH THE REPLAY right here!
