The Coffee Run - Know yourself and know your client - branding

from The Nicola Moras Show · host Nicola Moras

It can be a challenge sometimes when you know things need to change with your visual branding (such as photos of yourself, your website design and even your social media branding) to get excited about what you see in other people's sites BUT it can also be overwhelming. Questions arise about if you 'should' go a bit louder.. or a bit more minimal. Should I declutter it or should I bulk it up? The next thing that often comes up for people is the questions around how to physically style themselves in their imagery and in their photos.... The best possible piece of advice I can give you (and anyone who asks) is to NOT do things like I do them and it's do things that align to you. This might mean having a minimalised feel to your website. It might mean ramping it up. If you want it to be a bit more 'gritty' then add some things in there that do that or if you want to make it feel a bit more serene, then you can do that, too. First and foremost, you need to know what you like and you need to know what your audience is likely to like. Don't do things visually in the way that I do them. Do them in YOUR way. Hope this helps.
