As with pretty much anything in life, it's important to test and measure. Far too often I hear the cries of people who are lamenting about their ads not working (after spending $10-$100), their launches not working.. but when asked where they fell down, they can't tell me. It's crucial that #1 you know HOW to measure the data... but before you even start, you've got to shift the way you think about what you're doing. Most campaigns, sales promotions and even free things that you unleash into the world require a mindset of EXPERIMENTING. When you think about what you're doing in this way, it can release some of the pressure of things HAVING to work first time round Experiment. Test.
