Jesus willingly went to Jerusalem even though he would suffer and be crucified there. Take some time to thank God for the example we have in Jesus of faithfulness in the face of suffering.How do we respond to people that reject us because of our faithfulness to Jesus? Is it with kindness and love or anger?The three people that Jesus meets on the road are all made aware of the cost of following him. The three key challenges that Jesus makes them aware of in following him are to do with possessions, priorities and people. What does it look like for you to make Jesus Lord in each of these areas? What might it mean for you to wholeheartedly follow Jesus in regards to these things? What challenges you at the moment?
