In 2021 the Tradies, in protest against the mandates, had a brief sit down protest on Melbourne's iconic, the West Gate Bridge. With them was a family, who decided to pull out of the protest before the protestors walked up the bridge. Their plan was to go home, but instead they ran into bus loads of police.
