The Deutsch Langhaar with Jennifer Wapenski

In this episode, Tyler sits down with Jennifer Wapenski, owner and breeder of the Deutsch Langhaar's. Jennifer is also part of Hunting Dog Confidential and Project Upland.   Jennifer and Tyler discuss the breed and go over what the difference is between German Long Haired Pointers and Deutsch Langhaar's, the requirements/testing set forth by the Germans for breeding, how Jennifer chose the Deutsch Langhaar and more!   The exciting part about the Deutsch Langhaar is that even in the U.S. we are still required to meet the German standards in order to continue breeding under the Deutsch Langhaar name. There are not many litters of pups in the U.S. each year but the nice part is that if you purchase a Deutsch Langhaar, you know it went through extensive testing and met the standards that have been set forth for many many years.
