Chris Thompkins was just 20 years old when he was last seen.January 25, 2002, Chris went to work with this survey company as usual. The crew was working in a semi-remote area of Ellerslie, Georgia, just 18 miles from Columbus, Georgia where Chris was from.After their lunch break, the crew went back to work. Chris was about 50 feet away from the other workers. When his closest to him co-worker turned away for a few minutes, Chris vanished.The crew looked for him for hours before calling his mother, Ann.His boot would be found, and some loose change, but no sign of Chris anywhere.Did he walk off? Did something happen to him?
