Laurel had been diagnosed with Lupus at the young age of 16, and she had her struggles with it.However, she continued to persevere and be a friend to so many, including a 'best friend' to her mother, Lauretta.In 2010, at age 28, Laurel was living in Port Orange, Florida. She left one evening to spend time with friends, and never returned home.
