«Si las puertas de la percepción fueran abiertas, todo aparecería ante el hombre tal cual es: infinito…» Este poema de William Blake dió nombre a uno de los grupos de rock más influyentes a finales de los 60: The Doors. Jim Morrison, junto a Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger y John Densmore, lograron convertirse en referentes de toda una generación –y muchas posteriores-, marcando una época. Apodado el ‘Rey Lagarto’, Jim Morrison, líder del grupo, se convirtió en icono y mito de multitud de fans al fallecer en París a la temprana edad de 27 años. Hoy, recordando que un 5 de junio de 1969 se proyectó el primer documental sobre este grupo bajo el título Feast of friends, escucharemos People are strange, canción del segundo album de The Doors.
