The End of Medicine, As We Know It! Global Disease and Animals!

A new groundbreaking documentary, The End of Medicine as We Know It, explores the link between global disease and our relationship with animals. This film warns that if things don't change, we are on the verge of the end of medicine as we know it. Directed by Alex Lockwood, produced by Keegan Kuhn of First Spark Media (Cowspiracy & What the Health), Executive Produced by Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara, the film examines the correlation between the treatment of animals and emerging health threats, such as pandemics, chronic diseases and antibiotic resistance. Nearly two years in the making, the film was made possible as a result of collaboration with filmmakers, such as Michael Alfuso (Outpost Digital Media) and Kelly Guerin (We Animals Media), Photographer Jo-Anne McArthur (We Animals Media) and also experts across a range of disciplines, including Dr. Aysha Akhtar, Dr. Priyumvada Naik, Dr. Sailesh Rao, Prof. Andrew Cunningham and Veterinarian Dr. Alice Brough. The mission of this film is to drive change when it comes to our treatment of animals and the natural world.
