That isn’t coincidence; that’s the anatomy of a fix. Each of them had access to confidential case information and leveraged that insider knowledge to cash in, turning justice into a commodity. Then, when the Office of the Inspector General reviewed it, the watchdog that should have barked called it merely “bad judgment,” effectively normalizing what was blatant ethical rot. In any other case, this would have been criminal, but in Epstein’s world, betrayal was just another business decision—and the DOJ let it slide.The result was a system that protected predators and punished truth.
