In this episode, I had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Loren Fishman. Dr. Fishman is Medical Director of Manhattan Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in New York City, author of 12 books, and more than 100 academic articles, and a world-recognized pioneer in the use of yoga in medical conditions, and the treatment of lower back pain and piriformis syndrome. We spoke about how he got involved in bringing yoga to western medicine, particularly interventions for scoliosis and osteoperosis. He also shared his perspective on which yoga research project was the most exciting one he's worked on in his lengthly career.
