“The Faithful Church” - Revelation 3:7-10

We now come to the last two letters that Jesus sends to the 7 churches of Asia Minor, Philadelphia and Laodicea. There were only two Churches that received letters which did not contain a warning or a coming judgment for sin, they were Smyrna and Philadelphia. Jesus commended the Church in Philadelphia for being a Church that kept His word, did not deny His name, and for persevering through tribulations and persecution. He commended and blessed them for being a faithful Church. Though no Church nor Christian is perfect, we can be faithful. Through the power and strength of the Holy Spirit, we can be a church and a Christian that pleases the Lord, and receive the blessing of an “Open Door” to spread the gospel to others and win souls for the Kingdom.
