Hello, movie maniacs! This week Mary and David tried to see The Odyssey, but that was a no-go with Imax showings sold out until the end of August. So then they thought they should see the movie Obsession and talk about the YouTube-ification of horror films, but no – the projector crapped out that night. So…it’s Retro Fansplainers this week as Mary and David go back to 2023 and the film BlackBerry co-written and directed by Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie alum Matt Johnson with music by fellow Nirvanna… alum Jay McCarrol and cinematography by fellow Nirvanna… alum Jared Raab and co-written by fellow Nirvanna… alum Matthew Miller and co-starring Jay Baruchel, Glenn Howerton, Michael Ironside, Saul Rubinek and Cary Elwes who are not in Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie.
