Tommy announces his retirement from boxing after 23 years in the sport. Having lost at the weekend, he’s decided to call it a day. In this episode, Tommy reflects on his career from amateur to professional. He talks about joining the Oliver Plunkett ABC, where he first met Tyrone. They talk about their memories of heading to dunking at the national championships as kids. He tells us about his first trip on the national team and his proudest moment in the ring. Tommy and Tyrone share some memories of boxing going away to represent Ireland together and the messing around that went on during those trips. During Tommy's career, he picked up 8 national titles from school boy to elite level, numerous nations medals, and a Commonwealth Games gold medal. As a professional, he picked up the WBC International title and became Ireland’s first black European Champion. He ends his professional career after having 28 fights.
