The Fingerprint

from ConBERTAciones · host Berta P. Weyenberg

I came across a beautiful saying:“A fingerprint does not fade from the lives it has touched.”When we leave a place, a person, or a season behind, part of us may think that closing the door means we’ll never see it again. It’s true—some doors are meant to stay closed, and we’re wise to keep our hearts and minds away from them. But it's also true that even the most painful places sometimes need a healthy visit—just once. When we find ourselves feeling raw emotions we don’t quite understand, could it be that some people, places, or chapters are still waiting for a final visitation?I’m a firm believer in finishing things well. Unfinished matters tend to become skeletons—and we all know how quickly those can fill a closet. If you, like me, feel there’s a visit you need to make—emotionally, spiritually, or even physically—I encourage you: don’t wait too long.Let’s pray for clean, pure fingerprints—marks of love, truth, and grace—that will never fade.Psalm 147:3 (NIV)“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”BW
