Hello again, everyone. So glad that you're there watching. We appreciate it. It's just a joy to be able to come into your home, perhaps sadly even into your hospital room or your nursing home room there, wherever you are.
That doesn't matter. We're just glad you're there because God is where you are. And it's a joy to welcome you to this week's edition of the Focus of Freedom. The choir there, of course, we haven't had a choir in way over a year because of COVID.
But a few of us get on the platform and sing for the glory of God. So my daughter-in-law, she sings the verses on this song. I really appreciate Hannah. And the message of this song paid in full.
We are under the new covenant. We are the children of God because of the merit and the might and the mercy of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, who took our sins into his own body and paid our sin debt in full. I hope the Holy Spirit will bless us as we listen to the song paid in full. Make you happy, sure to hit me.
Listen, for some reason the Lord reminded me of that powerful parable that the Lord gave us in Matthew 18. And I'll be real brief about it. The King had left his servants in charge of his dealings in business. And he had went away, but he told them he was coming back.
And when he got back, one of those servants owed him, what was it, in today's terms, if those were gold talents, Jesus was using this powerful parable to teach us a deep lesson. That servant would have owed the Master millions and millions of dollars in today's economy. He couldn't pay it, but he said, oh, have mercy, give me time, I'll pay all. And the Master had pity and forgaving the entire debt.
And he'll imagine. And then that same servant went out and found a fellow servant who owed him a hundred pence, which today had about fifteen dollars. Started choking him, aggravating him, threatening him. And then that servant prayed the same prayer to him that he had to the Master, but had no compassion and no pity and was turning him over to debtors' prison.
The fellow servants heard that, told the Master, the Master came and said, listen, I had compassion and pity on you, shouldn't you have had compassion and pity upon your fellow servant, cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness. The question is, brothers and sisters, are we profitable servants for our Lord or are we unprofitable? Are we compassionate or not? Do we have pity and mercy on others as God had pity and mercy upon us or not?
We ought to not do spite to the grace of God, but as God was long-suffering and patient and compassionate and pitiful to us, then we ought to be so thankful that the debt has been paid in full that we would spread that message to everyone everywhere. We ought to be God's servants, profitable to his kingdom and profitable to one another. Those of you that have gone through a lot of stress this past year through COVID and still are, we have a little book just off the press called Grace for Grief and there's the picture and you can order your copy at 442 Freedom Tavern Aquilane at Kings, Virginia, 24311 that if the address is there. It's a joy to labor together with you, and it's a joy to be here with you on Tuesday, Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to 8. Last week we began the message, God's last call for America. And as I said last week, I'll say it again this week. I certainly pray this is not God's last call, but we as God's people will heed God's call.
I'm reminded of Ezra. God gave him and others a little space for grace. There was a nail in the holy place, and God gave them an opportunity to rebuild and to construct those walls that had been destroyed, to rebuild and replace the gates, to push away all the rubble. Let's push away the rubble of pride and gossip and tail-bearing and all that old stuff, God's people, get that old rubbish out of the way, humble ourselves, repent and seek the face of Almighty God.
And let's let the salt get some savor and let's get the light, a little bright in the house of God. That's the hope of America. And if we'll do that, then this will not be the last God's last call. Let's make sure of that.
Let's go to the preaching of God's Word there at the Freedom of Tabernacle and I trust God to bless his Word to all of our lives. And I look at verse 19 and 20. When he said in verse 16, he said, watch you make you clean. Even in all that, God hadn't given up on him.
He said in verse 18, come on now, let's reason to death. I don't want to deal with you. I want to talk to you. If I live you, I'm going to rebuke you.
I'm going to challenge you. So in verse 19, if you be willing and obedient, you'll eat the good of the land. So by all means, let's be willing and obedient. But in verse 20, if you refuse and rebel, you'll be devoured with the soul.
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. You want to believe politicians? Are you going to believe a bunch of preachers? Or you want to listen and believe God?
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. Verse 8, chapter 2, their land is full of idols. They worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made. In the 1960s, when progressives were making specific, out of minds plans to translate and transfer America from a representative republic to a Marxist socialist land.
The independence were leaving the southern Baptists and that's all I heard about when I was a kid, how the Baptists were dividing. I grew up thinking the only thing you could preach about the Bible was long-haired mini skirts. While we've been doing our thing for the last 50 years, the devil's surely been doing his. If we've been on the watchtower, we've been blind.
Now all kinds of serpents and vowels, things have crawled in among us. You can curse the darkness all you want to, and you can fight with the weapons of your warfare. But God said to the co-rampians, in the piano pol, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. But mighty, if you've got to the pulling down of strong holes, we've got to have the power of the Holy Spirit of the living God in America, not tomorrow, right now, today.
How does that happen? Well, sure can't go on with this old lofty looks of verses left, but the lofty looks of man's going to be humble. We've done a poor job of humbling ourselves. Are we forcing God to humble us?
You better think about that and think about it long. We can redone over to chapter three and the people at verse five and the people should be oppressed every one by another, every one by his neighbor. The child should be held himself proudly against the ancient and the base against the honorable. Did you ever think there would be a time in America when those who openly defy the word of God would be applauded?
Those who try to live by it will be booed. That's where we are, not tomorrow, but yesterday and today Jerusalem is ruined. Verse nine, the show of their accountants do with witness against them. They declare their sin is sought and they hide it not.
Whoa, and to their soul, for they shall be rewarded evil unto themselves. Verse 11, whoa, unto the wicked. As for my people, children are their oppressors and women, rule over them all my people, which lead the cause, lead the air and destroy the way of that pass. Don't leave the word of God for the will of man.
Saved by the stuff and obey the words of what the say of the Lord God. Verse 18 of chapter five, whoa, unto them that are all iniquity with cords of vanity and sin as if it were a cart rope. Verse 20, look at it in your Bible. You've got them open there.
I say of five, twenty, whoa, unto them that call evil good and good evil. That put darkness for light and light for darkness and put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Whoa, unto them that are wise in their own eyes and prude in their own sight. On and on we can go, but look at verse 25, for all of this, his anger is not turned away.
The anger of God is being kindled. But his hand is stretched out still. So God finally gets to Isaiah and Isaiah said in verse five of chapter six, whoa is me. Here it is, ladies and gentlemen, whoa is me.
I can say, whoa, do you, whoa, do you, whoa, do you all day long. But until I say, whoa is me and get down humble before God. Ain't nothing really going to happen powerful from God in my life. But he said in verse five, whoa is me.
Then the voice of the Lord said, who will I send and who will go for us? And Isaiah said, here am I, Lord send me. How many of this morning left up both hands? And say, here I am, God.
I want you to send me into the midst of everything that's going on. I want you to send me. And I want you to make me usable. The Lord came and Bethlehem is the promise of chapter nine, verse six.
And verse seven says, the increase of the government of Christ and of his peace. There shall be no end in verse seven. So therefore, for all of this, in verse 17 of chapter nine, no God's anger is not going to be turned away. He's not going to bless sin.
He's not going to be a partnership with stubbornness. But his hand is still stretched out. Look with me at verse two of chapter 12. Behold, God is my salvation.
God is our salvation, not we ourselves. I'll trust and not be afraid. For the Lord Jehovah is my strength. He's my song.
And he is my salvation. Therefore, whatever earthly circumstance or situation with joy shall you draw water out of the wheels of salvation. Hey, I've got me a bucket and it's clean and empty. Hey, God's filling it up this morning with fresh water from the rock of ages.
He'll give you joy in the midst of everything else that's going on. Now look at Isaiah chapter 63 and verse 10. But with all of that, even with the gospel of Isaiah 53, they rebelled and made. And vexed his Holy Spirit.
Therefore, he was turned to be their enemy and he fought against them. God resists the proud. Do you hear that from the piano, both James and Peter over to the New Testament. We go to the great gospel of Mark chapter number three, Mark chapter three verse 29.
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiven us, but is in danger of eternal damnation. When you talk about people unjustly and you are a tale bearer, you are grieving the Holy Spirit of the living God. If you keep that up in your life, you can near this thing of blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. Look what happened to Ananias and Sephira over here in Acts chapter five.
Turn real quick over there. Acts chapter five. I just want you to see it. Sure we could read it off the wall.
I gave it to Christi, but Acts chapter five verse three. But Peter said to Ananias, why has Satan filled on heart to lie to the Holy Ghost? Don't be lying to God for all hours. They'll have their part in the lake, which burns with fire and brimstone.
Turn your abiables down to the great little epistle of Ephesians chapter four verse 30. Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God. Can a sinner grieve the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit's not dwelling within a sinner.
Paul was talking to the believers at the Church of Ephesus. And just like Ananias and Sephira lied to the Holy Ghost, when I claimed to be saved and if I was arrested by the Smith County Sheriff Department and took down the Smith County Court House and answered the charge of being a Christian, sometimes I'm afraid there wouldn't be sufficient evidence to convict us. We'd be led out immediately in this mess because the evidence would be stacked against us. We're clouds without water twice and they had booked up by the root.
When we, oh my God, I just got to let God go. I'm trying to get, you pray for me. I'm trying to, I'm about to grieve the Holy Spirit. I don't want to, it's bothering me because I'm the biggest nut in the pond.
God ain't about to brag on me. Because I don't deserve any bragging. Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God. We're about to get sealed in the day of redemption.
That all bitterness, there's bitterness in your life. You grieve the Holy Ghost. You understand the word of God. So when I hear people come up to me, tail bearing, I don't like this and you mean you're letting this and you, that's bitterness.
That's bitterness. Wrath, anger, clamor, evil speaking, malice. That's grieving the Holy Spirit. What is obedience and submission?
Being kind one to another, tender hearted for giving one another, even as God for Christ's sake had forgiven you. Let us not be guilty of grieving the Holy Spirit. Nor of quenching the Holy Spirit. First, there's a lonians, chapter 5.
Look over here in verse 16. Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. It's not the Spirit.
Hebrews, chapter 10, I know we're taking a long time but we're just in the Word of God. How can anybody not love the Word of God? Hebrews 10, 25, not forsaking their seemingly inverse, they're the manner of some is, but exhorting one another and so much the more as you see the day approaching. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.
But a certain fearful looking for a judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries. First John, chapter 5. First John, chapter 5. And verse 16.
If he may not see his brother sin which is not unto death, he shall ask and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death. I do not say that he shall pray for it. Sinners just like all those last week that left your lost, don't keep saying no to God.
Saints of God when God speaks, when God deals, don't get stiff-necked and hard-hearted. For God can near that deadline of if he steps over it. He not going to talk to you anymore. That's why people can be pale-marish in gossips and murmurs and blangers for fifty years and never change and they think they're so right and good.
They don't even realize that the Holy Spirit rode him off back in 1969 and he ain't spoke to him. They're families, don't respect them. They're co-workers and friends. They're just religionists because they're a long ways from this book.
Now, because of politics, they're getting all active and it won't fight God help and manifesting behaviors that are non-becoming to the child of God. They'll call me a wimp and they'll call me everything they want to call me. But I don't care about that. When I die and step across the mystic waters, as long as he says, he's obedient to me, boy.
That's all I care about. I've got to tell the truth. Matthew 1225, Mark 3, 24, Luke 11, 17, Jesus said our house divided cannot stand. So this morning before we go, God's last call to America.
Will you think about that with me? God's last call. Veterans, I thank God for you. For the few that are left like Brother Wayne Moore, served in World War II, and stormed the beaches of Normandy.
I wonder what they think now that our country is so divided. If you've been listening to this little pastor, even half-heartedly for years, you've got to remember this. I've told you for the last many years that the voting public in America was 50-50. That's why there was so much effort put on a few small minority groups in order to win elections.
This last election Tuesday shows. Talk about the thieving, talk about the dishonesty, talk about the cheating. Little Brother Mike Seder's little throw-in' something here. They cheated in elections ever since time started.
If you're going to sit around and tell me they ain't been cheating this time, then goodness, a laugh. I don't know if I can talk to you or not. Do you have a brain in your head? Are you totally brainwashed?
But we're so polarized. And listen to me, call it conservative Christian right-wing, whatever terminology. Well, we've been playing church for the last 50 years just like I've preached about so often. They haven't been playing.
Progressive Marxists that's hated America since our inception, and especially in the 1890s and the 19 teens, and we could call names, talk about all kinds of things, 1920s, 1930s, 1930s, humanist manifesto, humanism, multiculturalism, all this stuff. Why do you think old Brother Mike's been screaming through the 90s for God's people to get right with God? It ain't about bridges on women or long-haired men or divorce preachers or ones saved always saved or going to movies or contemporary music versus southern gospel music. It's not all about that.
