Send us Fan MailWhat’s been preventing me from getting a good nights rest? The way people and the government treat the elderly. Hard working men and woman that have  paid taxes and their dues. Taught to respect others. Only to be overlooked and tossed aside by society later in life. To have their homes ripped away and taken from their families by the same government they paid in to. When the elderly have no one to care for them or people in a position to do so, they are put in to a care facility. If they cannot afford to pay, government takes over. HOWEVER, if you have anything of value and paid off, the government takes it to pay for their care. Which means, if they own a home, BOOM government can put a lean on it. I discuss this and the struggles my mom and I went through during Covid and making the decision to move her in to assisted living. It’s the entire reason I started this podcast. Support the show
