This is the first song I wrote for this project. When I wrote it there was a completely differently idea in mind. I had reached out to an MC that I produced back in the '90s and asked if they wanted to do a project that I would produce and we would both rhyme on, and I sent them this track as a demo. I never heard back, and I also realized album that I was originally planning to release on 7-3-22, wasn't going to be ready in time, so I came up with the concept for the Songbird EP, and followed the basic direction of this song for the foundation.
