The night before Jesus was killed, Jesus told His disciples that He was leaving. At that moment, the disciples weren’t sure what to think. They couldn’t think of anything better than spending time with Jesus. Jesus knew as long as He was living on the earth, everyone would look to Him to do the work of God. But when He was gone, the disciples would realize that they had the same power to do God’s work through the Holy Spirit.THE BIG IDEA: The Holy Spirit inside you is better than Jesus beside you.
