The God of All Comfort, 11/22/20

We welcomed our guest preacher, Rev. Jason Moore, his wife, Tiffany, and their children to New Port today.  Jason was the founding pastor of New Creation Presbyterian Church in Wentzville. After serving there for more than a decade, Jason stepped down from that position this past year to establish a new ministry, together, with Tiffany. Their ministry, Renewed Hope, is dedicated to helping individuals cope with mental health challenges. Jason reminds us, through looking at 2 Corinthians 1:3-11, that God's purposes in allowing suffering include us bringing comfort to others through the comfort we've received from Him. Encouraging and comforting others through sharing our own stories and experiences isn't a luxury, but a necessity in God's Kingdom. Be encouraged today to face trials remembering who attends you in them, the God of all comfort.
