The Gospel according to Jess

Oh how transformative gospel music can be. However when you are queer the church institution is one of the most isolating. Trying to water who you are out of fear of not being accepted is one thing but straying away from the faith seems to be the solution until Jess performed in the Color Purple Broadway show and it brought her back to it all.
