The Great escapes of Fredrick Douglass and John Anderson

Frederick Douglass was born a slave who learned to read and changed his world through spoken and written word. He escaped and even the President of the United states agreed with his Abolitionist presentation leading to the emancipation of slavery. John Anderson was a man who fought for his freedom killing a slave catcher in the process. He fled to Canada and was freed by British law.
