Today we drop the second episode of our character analysis series. On this episode, we’ll be discussing Nicholas Blaine, a controversial character to many but one of our favorites on The Handmaid’s Tale television show on Hulu. We got to know Nick as a driver for the Waterford’s long before he was promoted to Commander in Season 3 - and to us he’s primarily June’s friend, lover, and father to their baby Holly/Nichole. There are a lot of complications the show has thrown at him, attempting to prevent him from focusing on those roles that are most important to him, but his heart at least never seems to falter from its ride or die love for June.
