The Haunting 1963
from The Post Boys Podcast Hosted by The Post Boys
The House Was Born Bad. This time Ian and Gary have a long conversation about the classic Robert Wise chiller 'The Haunting' from 1963. Based on the bestselling novel from Shirley Jackson's 'The Haunting of Hill House'. We go in depth for almost 2 hours with this one and then as usual go off in all directions and discuss a host of other topics. Starring Julie Harris, Claire Bloom, Russ Tamblyn, Richard Johnson, Lois Maxwell, Valentine Dyall and Paul Maxwell. This creepy B/W horror has atmosphere, style, great production and a unique score for it's time. Warning: Gary even discusses the Easter Horror B-movie 'The Being' from 1981. :(
