Taking a step back from the macro dangers of the situation, as a Jew, wars between countries are never good for us. Speaking with Professor of History Larry Domnitch, author of a book I recently read called "The Impact of World War One on the Jewish People". It is a fascinating book that should be read by all, which brings factual historical accounts of Jews who fought and lived through the war, on both sides. The most horrifying aspect of it all, that regardless which side a Jew fought for, he/she was witness to, or experienced, the horrible way his side treated his fellow Jews on the other side.
