The House That Jack Built (2018)

from A Podcast on Elm Street · host Marc and Brooke

What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with another one of Brooke's specialties of messed up serial killer movies! This time we're following Jack into the pits of Hell as he describes 5 of his killings in The House That Jack Built! This movie was directed by none other than Lars Von Trier and it definitely lives up to his crazy direction style.  This was a first time watch for Marc but it won't be a last as there's a lot to unpack in this movie. We went on quite the ride trying to figure out all of the meanings in this movie and make sense of the ending and there's a slight chance we did finally grasp it, at least a little bit... Come back for our next episode where we won't have as much to unpack in Marc's pick of Lights Out from 2019!   Reach out to us on Instagram at: https://www.instagram.com/a_podcast_on_elm_street/ Check out our LinkTree for any merch, Patreon or Letterboxd interests: https://linktr.ee/a_podcast_on_elm_street
