Cultures down through the ages have exhibited very similar religious practices to our current modern temple worship. Matthew B. Brown at a FAIR conference in 2011 brings to light many evidences that ancient Israelite temple worship and early Christian temple worship were very, very similar to our own. He presents yet more evidences that temple language, symbols, and practices have been lost in our historical view of the Lord's work.
